I want you to understand the key to Meditation. Once you know the “Trick” then it is very easy.
Meditation doesn’t have to be at a certain time of the day. It HAS TO BE ALL DAY LONG, but done properly it is not a burden but something natural.
First, Meditation is the “Art” of not having thoughts in “Our mind”.
Second, you have to understand that a positive thought or a negative thought is a thought after all. And we have to get rid of them.
Third, thoughts DO NOT belong to you. YOU and everybody else chase them like a dog chases a car on the street. Since you have been chasing them almost all your life you think that they belong to you, but in reality you are pure silence.
Fourth, You are breathing all day long, until you die, the problem is that you have learned not to be watchful and you let your attention follow the thoughts. The key is in being watchful of the breathing.
Fifth, you can practice Vipassana all day long, just when you realize that you are thinking first do not get upset or angry or disappointed, because those are another thoughts. Whenever you realize that you are thinking just focus your attention on the tip of your nose, watch the air going in and out of your nose. By watching it I don’t mean think about it, I mean just watch the air entering and exiting. Automatically the thoughts will stop. Also, when you notice that you are in silence even the image of Buddha, or of happiness, of light or of God is just another thought, that is not Meditation, that is imagination.
Sixth, little by little you’ll get used to focus your attention on the breathing instead of on the thoughts. As you get used to it you will enjoy more and more the beauty of silence.
Seventh, your nature is Silence, you have only been chasing thoughts so you have forgotten about your nature. You will not accomplish anything new with Meditation, you will only return to your natural state. That natural state is what we call Enlightenment.
Meditation is as simple as this. Any other person that says different doesn’t know what he or she is doing and is only confusing people.
Before practicing Meditation, be sure to understand FULLY the instructions, that way you won’t spend 20 years Meditating.

It is as simple as this. If you follow these seven steps you will find yourself in silence.
